Keith Boswell
Keith Boswell
With a diverse professional background including manufacturing, retail and economic development, Keith Boswell serves as the primary advocate for economic development in Virginia’s Gateway Region. Prior to joining VGR in May 2018, Keith invested 21 years working with the Virginia Economic Development Partnership where he facilitated 567 company location and expansion announcements that created 82,047 jobs and $7.97 billion in investment. Keith earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University (1983), an MBA from the University of Richmond (1989), and is a graduate of the Economic Development Institute at the University of Oklahoma (1998).
Ajay Sujanani
Ajay Sujanani
Ajay joined Virginia’s Gateway Region (VGR) in 2018 and serves as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining VGR, Ajay served as VP, International Business with the Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation where he launched “Global Tampa Bay” a Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and export trade program. Before that, Ajay served as Managing Director at the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) assisting companies from around the world assess their site selection options to secure a competitive advantage. He managed a portfolio of projects valued at more than $7 billion and more than 12,000 jobs. Ajay holds an MBA from the London Business School.
Jamie Glass
Jamie Glass
Jamie joined the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance in 2015 and serves as the Deputy Director of Economic Development. In her role, she is responsible for economic development marketing, business retention, and a focus on talent pipeline building. Prior to joining the Alliance, Jamie served as Advertising Manager for a locally-owned media company and held roles in sales and purchasing for Schrader Bridgeport. She is currently pursuing her economic development certification through the International Economic Development Council.
Megan Lucas
Megan Lucas
Megan joined the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance in 2014 and serves as the CEO and Chief Economic Development Officer. Prior to joining the Alliance, Megan served as the Economic Development Director for the Town of Altavista. Prior to relocating to Virginia, she served as the President and CEO of the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce and Executive Director of the Tullahoma Area Chamber of Commerce in Tennessee. Lucas serves as the Chair of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute Board of Directors and is a certified economic developer. She received her bachelor of arts from Culver-Stockton College in Canton, MO and Masters of Science from the University of Memphis, Memphis, TN.
Jeffrey G. Reed
Jeffrey G. Reed
Reed is a passionate professional that is dedicated to growing economies at the local level, with over two decades of economic development, community development and city planning experience working in the public and private sectors. He has dedicated his professional career to rural America. Reed has worked in Southern Virginia since 2003. During his various duty assignments, he has had to opportunity to work projects both large and small. Reed is a resident of Clarksville, VA and a graduate of Marshall University.
Mario Camardella
Mario Camardella
Mario joined Virginia’s Gateway Region in 2018 and serves as Vice President, Director of Business Development. He supports VGR by identifying domestic and international growth companies looking for a business-friendly, low-cost location with plenty of resources to be globally competitive. Mario also works with existing businesses seeking export assistance to expand their sales in new markets. As a trusted advisor in economic development, Mario has worked with both start-ups and Fortune 500 companies resulting in more than $450 million in new capital investment and 4,600 new jobs in Virginia. He holds an MBA from VCU and a BS degree from FAU. A Veteran, Mario has served as U.S. Army Paratrooper. He is the proud father of twin girls, and grandfather of twin boys.
